About Us
Pakistan Welfare Association Slough was founded in 1964 when a group of volunteers recognized the need for specific support for those newly arriving Pakistani in the area of Slough, feeling the need for support and help with welfare issues and concerns. It became a registered charity serving the community in the year 1996.
The organisation has since grown significantly and offers its services to all communities in the area of Slough in particular to the Pakistani community. Each year we provide information, advice and help to members of the community with their Social and welfare issues.
At the Pakistan Welfare Association Slough, we are passionate about developing the skills of our local community and the young people we serve. We believe that everyone should have a voice in everything that affects them.
We are an independent charity and a partner for local authority and the third sector delivering and supporting them in the development of innovative programmes for community cohesion.
