Procedure and Requirements to apply for NICOP

Procedure:

System is same as in Pakistan High Commission London if you have ever visited NADRA office. The new process is very smooth, and efficient.

·        We will come up with our equipment like laptops, camera and finger print capture devices and no paper work involved and this is paper less system.

·        There is no need to fill in any application Form.

·        No Photograph is required.

·        No photocopy of any document required.

·        Applicant presence is mandatory even if it is new born child or very old person.

·        Applicants need to come up with original documents and we will return original documents at the same time. Required documents list will be discussed in the end.

·        System is efficient and reliable

National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistani’s (NICOP) Application Types and Documents Requirements

CNIC/NICOP or its 13 digit number of Father / Mother or real Brother / Sister or Husband / Wife or Son / Daughter as reference for completion of family linkage (Mandatory for applicant applying on basis of para-1 i.e. old NIC).                                                                                                     5. Valid Pakistani Passport with valid visa or valid Foreign Passport (Mandatory for all applicants).                                                                                                                                                                 6. Nikah Nama / Marriage paper only for married applicants                     (optional for above 45 years age applicants).      7. Divorce paper / Death certificate of spouse in case of marital status Divorced / Widow.
B	New NICOP for CNIC Holder Applicant already hold Computerized ID Card i.e CNIC or Computerized Child Registration Certificate i.e. CRC / B-Form)	Applicants already registered with NADRA Database in the form of Computerized National ID Card (CNIC  / Computerized Shanakhti Card) or Child Registration Certificate (CRC / B-Form) and want to get NICOP.	1. Computerized National ID Card (CNIC) or CRC or Its 13 Digits Computerized Number 2. Valid Pakistani Passport with valid visa or valid Foreign Passport Note: NICOP will be issued with same particulars as mentioned in CNIC or CRC existing data.
C	Modification in NICOP (Applicant already holds NICOP and wants to modify or Change particulars in his / her NICOP)	Age Change (Less than 3 Years)	1. Original NICOP 2. Birth Certificate or Matric certificate or School leaving certificate. 3. Valid Pakistani Passport with valid visa or valid Foreign Passport.
		Age Change (More than 3 Years)	1. Original NICOP 2. Matric Certificate or Service Book or Pakistani Court Decree. 3. Valid Pakistani Passport with valid visa or valid Foreign Passport.
		Partial Name Change (like addition of father / husband name as surname or Khan, Malik, Chaudhary etc.)	1. Father ID card / Husband ID card.                                                        2. Nikah Nama / Marriage paper for females wants to add husband name as their surname.                                                                              3. No document required for addition of Khan, Malik, Chadhary etc.
		Complete Name Change	Name change deed duly attested from Foreign Commonwealth office (FCO) and Pakistan High Commission.
		Marital Status (Applicant wants to updated his / her marital status as “Married / Divorced / Widow”)	1. Original NICOP 2. Husband ID card (If available) 3. Nikah Nama / Marriage paper.                                                              4. Valid Pakistani Passport with valid visa or valid Foreign Passport. 5. In case of divorce / death of first spouse, divorce paper / death certificate of first spouse accordingly.
		Father Name	1.  Father CNIC and birth certificate in case of father alive. 2. Court Decree in case of father deceased.
D	Renewal of NICOP (Applicant holds expired CNIC or NICOP)	To extend validity of expired NICOP	1. Original NICOP / CNIC. 2. Valid Pakistani Passport with valid visa or valid Foreign Passport.
E	Duplicate NICOP                  (Applicant already issued NICOP which is lost)	Applicant wants to apply for lost NICOP with same particulars.	1. Lost NICOP copy or Its 13 Digit number.                                                        2. Valid Pakistani Passport with valid visa or valid Foreign Passport.
